So, some time since my last post. I did post just before shooting started but somehow have lost the post - user error no doubt about it!
Since then filming has begun and ended.
Started with the cast and crew arriving in Carraroe on 25th May and settling into two houses. Pretty packed in and to be fair there were no complaints from anybody for which I am eternally grateful. Shooting in the most beautiful landscape imaginable helped.

It has been a tough 10 days or so since my last post.
Pressing on with the spread of the word on Indiegogo with a bit of success so we do have some funds coming in. I think we are at the stage now where we can almost afford the inusrance for the shoot and that is a success in my estimation!
We are getting some publicity too and have a bit coming out in on line press this coming week. I managed to get some of the cast together for a group photo as several of them
Pushing hard this week to get some press / on line publicity for the film and the crowd funder. I put the film for sale on ebay during the week too - well not the entire film more the opportunity to invest in it! No takers yet. I live in hope.
Easter Sunday. Sun is shining and I took the day off and went down to the beach. I needed it! Hard to sleep or think about anything else at the moment but the film.
Casting is all but finished. I found the last piece of the jigsaw, the third brother and he has accepted the role. Now I have a few other parts to decide on but I think that is not going to be a problem. I am really happy with the cast and the crew we have to date. All seem very keen and excited about the project
The web site and Indiegogo are getting a lot of hits but nobody is committing yet to donating. A trusted work colleague from my previous existence as a paralegal, contacted me to give me some feedback on the promo video.
He pointed out a few problems with it, he told me what he thought was good and what could be improved / removed. He was right. It was hard to hear as so much effort had gone into it but I knew it anyway. I braced myself and had a word with editor and made some
