About Conorfly
Role / Occupation:
Wanna-be
Location:
Dublin City
Biography:
I've worked on and off shorts for eight odd years. I've returned to the fold after a slew of personal set-backs with a clutter of ideas and scripts. I've decided to take my work on by myself as a producer this time, to see how things work out.

Feel free to PM me on any issue or if you'd like to add me as a friend then please do so. I'm also available through Facebook and occasionally Skype, just PM me before contacting me using those, otherwise you will be ignored.
Credits:
The Experiement (2003 Short) - Director
The Little Boy and The Old Man (2003 Short) - Director
Sunday (2004 Short for Dir. McCall Jones) - Continuity Supervisor
Blackness (2005 for Dir. Padraig Baggot) - Producer
He Who Has It All (2006 for Dir. Kevin Murphy) - Continuity Supervisor

As I've said already, I have a bucket load of ideas and scripts which are ready to go. Instead of relying on others to get me the finance for my work, I've decided to go ahead and produce the work myself, that said, I'm still open to any help out there.

In the second phase of re-writing 'Sorry'.
Awards:
Nada
Favourite Films:
Too many to mention but to give an overview, I love horror movies such as the Evil Dead trilogy (which I think speaks volumes about a person). I'd say John Carpenter and Stanley Kubrick are my biggest influences. I'm trying to concentrate on old movies from the 1950's or micro/low budget horror at the moment.

Just in case this gets lost in the either (as it eventually will), here's the link to Simon's blog entry which I'm referring to. Read that first. This first blog of my own is a ranting response to his excellent piece.

The special edition of ET didnít work for me really. The opening, where we see ET run towards the space craft was the only bit where the CGI worked for me, whereas before the scene looked very dated and seemed as if they got a muppet and plonked the thing onto a dolly
