Saw this in the IFC yesterday. Totally worth a look. Really captured the feeling of Romania for me. The lovely bonkersness of the place.

Great music. If you've spent any time in Romania, this will bring you back. If you haven't this is kind of a cool introduction.

Really makes me want to go back. Absoloutely magical part of the world (despite what Dublin taxi drivers would have you believe...)

Ruairiob.

Yeah, she's good. Never seen her before. What's her deal? What's she done?

Well shes the daughter of Dario Argento, Italian horror legend. She started out acting in his films, first playing small parts before playing lead in the likes of Stellenhal syndrome and Opera (nepotism eh?). Shes been in big films like xxx (triple x) and land of the dead and smaller films like last days. Shes also a director starting with her film scarlet diva which Dario produced ,before making the critically acclaimed the heart is decitfull above all things. She played lead in both.
She also has a good deal of notority for directing the banned Marlyn Manson video "(S)aint" , which she also appeared in. Er shes a dj as well. writer i think too.

Scarlet Diva is a great film, she wrote and directed it her self and all shot on digi-beta. It's basically a version of her own life story, being famous as a child because of her father and growing up always in the spotlight. to be honest, Scarlet Diva was the best acting I've seen her do. And jeeez!!! that tattoo
